Nama

Nama is both a tangible fabric interface and an audio-visual installation. Back in 2012, Luiz Zanotello appeared on the SuperCollider mailing list asking for help making audio for his installation. He created a fabric that sent real-time data about movement and folding. Essentially, it was an interactive installation where spectators could interact with the fabric, and the visuals and audio would react in real-time. I wrote the code that generated the audio/music. The installation traveled around the world. For more details, please refer to Luiz’s site.
